Timely, coherent and sustainable funding remains an ongoing challenge for the international community when helping countries to establish lasting peace. This discussion, organized by FES New York and the Permanent Mission of Germany, aimed at developing an understanding of where and how the PBC’s and the World Bank’s comparative strengths are to be captured in mobilizing resources and coordinating policies for sustainable peace-building. By revisiting some of the joint experiences of the first five years of the existence of the PBC, the debates also lead to the formulation of some practical suggestions for the PBC’s years ahead.
